There is a crown bowling green at King George V Playing Fields. The club is for veterans and over 60s.
We meet for social bowling on Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 1pm to around 3:30pm – cup of tea and a chat included.
We have 2 mixed teams that play matches on Wednesday afternoons home and away, and a mixed team playing on Saturday afternoons home and away.
We have spare bowls available for newcomers to try and some tuition if not played before. If you decide to join subscription is £10 per year but may be increasing slightly next year.
